Hi. I'm Lily Whiteman. I live in New York State, farming, running, vacationing, blogging, reading and doing other teenager activities. I'm doing an internship with Proctors Theatre to enlarge my view of performing arts and all that goes into them, which, I'm learning, is a lot.
I'm also running for Miss New York Teen USA under the title of 'Proctors Teen.'I decided that I could get beyond the fact that it's a beauty pageant, and use it as a way to learn about marketing, networking, applying make up, and maybe getting a few modeling jobs to pay for gas.
One of my (many) aspirations is acting. Proctors, Miss New York Teen, and the theatrical background from my parents will place me in good stead this year. I think this will be really cool. There are acting classes in my future, I'm sure, but until then, this is an incredible start! I already have learned so much from being here.
